2. Information we collect
We only collect information you provide or that is generated automatically when you use the site.
- Information you submit through our forms or by calling/texting: phone number, service requested, location (city, ZIP, or address), vehicle details (auto requests), lock/door details (residential requests), and any notes you include. For auto requests you also confirm ownership or authorized-driver status; for residential requests you confirm owner or authorized-resident status.
- Communication records: call logs, SMS messages, and emails exchanged between you and Vitaly.
- Automatically collected data: IP address, device type, browser, pages visited, referring URL, and interaction events (page views, phone-link clicks, SMS-link clicks, form submissions), collected via Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used to measure site performance and advertising effectiveness (see §6).
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 and do not sell personal information.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your service request by phone, text, or email.
- To dispatch service, confirm location, and coordinate arrival.
- To verify ownership or authorization for lockout services — a requirement of California locksmith practice.

- Service providers who help us operate the business — including Vercel (website hosting), Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads), and Telegram (internal lead notifications sent only to Vitaly).
- Authorities where required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vitaly Chebanov Locksmith, our customers, or the public.
5. How we store and protect your information
Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and delivered to Vitaly via Telegram. Call and SMS logs are retained on Vitaly's phone. Website analytics are retained by Google according to Google's standard retention policies. We keep lead information only as long as needed to complete the service and satisfy legal, tax, and licensing recordkeeping obligations.
6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics and Google Ads tags. These services use cookies and similar identifiers to measure traffic, track conversions (including phone-call and text-message clicks), and — where applicable — show relevant ads on other sites you visit.
